GlamGrasshighresWhat’s current in interior design, loads of  beautiful, lovely stuff. . .  but the one I want to show you images of is the vinyl wall coverings . . they are so many fantastic ones on the market these days. They don’t only look great they also feel great with beautiful textured feel and all.

I love them so much that we have  a featured wall with wall vinyl in our Andreafay Interior Design office in Muswell Hill, North London.

They look beautiful, they feel lovely and they help to make the room warm, cozy, bright and cheerful. A most definite statement!

KITCHENS

August 18th, 2011 Andrea Mundell-Bowen No comments

Kitchen, designed by Bontempi Omnia

We all know kitchen is referred the heart of a home. The new approach to a modern kitchen these days are to have a sleek surface and minimalist cupboards. This Kitchen designed by Bontempi Omnia, would be a fabulous area to entertain your guest, but a space such as this would only suit you if you are a couple or a small family.

Manufactured by majestic-gemstone.com, using selective raw material to create a custom made slab for a decorative interior feature.

This Kitchen is a great solution for a small interior space.

each individual component can be separated and then pushed together, which creates a single unit. This creates additional free space for the interior.

Enhance your interior space using tiles created by Okhyo, using digital printing on ceramic tiles. I love the additional spark which can be brought into the kitchen. This tiled mural image can be personalized according to your preferences and can be used in any space of an interior. `

At ANDREAFAY we have specialists that can help you choose the right colours and materials for your homes, office or commercial space.

ANDREAFAY is an interior designer in Muswell Hill, she writes on home improvments, interior design, travel and what’s new and HOT in interior design.

Be Mine Valentine

February 9th, 2011 Andrea Mundell-Bowen No comments
Please! Lol.

Is Valentine’s Day just a con? No! Says Andrea McLean, it is a day full of romantic possibilities, and I agree with what she has to say in her comment in the Bella Magazine. Valentine’s Day is a day to express love, romance and appreciation for that special someone in your life.

With Christmas and January over and the long winter months approaches,

February arrives with the promise of red roses and candlelight.

I love the idea of the romance of Valentine’s Day says Andrea and I don’t know of anyone that does not love to be whisked away with every cliché in the romantic book thrown at them. Paris, moonlight, beautiful red roses and cut flowers, soaking in a hot scented, candlelit bath and a glass of champagne, opening a tissue-filled box to find a lovely present or a beautiful dress to wear to a special restaurant.

Valentine’s Day is the most exciting and romantic day of the year after Christmas and birthdays. However you decide to spend your day, may it be a special romantic dinner at home or going out to a restaurant, have a very good time and remember if you have a lover, husband, wife or just someone to share the day with you should cherish the moment.

Enjoy life, enjoy love and celebrate each other!

Romantic Happiness and The Art of Feng Shui

February 1st, 2011 Andrea Mundell-Bowen No comments
As beautiful as this rose is, love is even more beautiful!

As beautiful as this rose is, love is even more beautiful!

Your Romantic Happiness space is in the south-west corner of every room in your home. This is the area that is links with love and enduring relationships. It is that place of romance where new liaisons can enticed into your life. Passion and sexuality are strong emotions here, this is the place where you open your heart to your special love and the person with whom you hope to spend the rest of your life. It is about real true love and togetherness, a true partnership, where your mind and emotions meet and blend into one.

Create a romantic space in your bedroom, make a romantic shrine or table; in fact you can turn your whole room into a hot, passionate boudoir to show you really mean business, you know what I mean!

What ever you do place your romantic offerings to the south-western space of your room and feel the loving vibrations flow throw as you attract that desired partner.
